The CDH 1811 is a versatile, compact SDI to HDMI converter designed to combat a host of monitoring and display applications in Broadcast, Post Production and Pro A/V markets.

Convert 3G/HD/SD – SDI video signals into a standard HDMI signal for monitoring and display. An optional fiber interface allows the module to be used for monitoring fiber connections and also function as a fiber converter. The HDMI output displays the native input resolution on the display (use display scaling functions to fill screen if required)

Two channels of audio can be de-embedded from the incoming video signal and provided as digital AES outputs and analog audio signals. Balanced audio outputs have selectable full scale range presets. The two selected audio channels can also be embedded into the HDMI output, or 8 channels selected from the input signal (channels 1-8 or channels 9-16)

Our unique on-screen overlay mode displays a multitude of additional information about the connected signal, including SDI input format and bit depth, burn-in windows for DVITC,VITC and LTC Timecode, 16 channel on- screen audio metering, Closed caption presence indication and AFD,WSS and VI Metadata presence and on screen code display. Turn any HDMI display into a fully featured SDI monitoring tool.

All user controls are located on the top of the module clearly labeled and easily accessible. This facilitates simple changes to module function and configuration without referring to a manual. The compact portable design makes it suitable for a wide range of applications in broadcast and mobile production environments.
